A range of treatment and therapeutic approaches are employed, including:
  • Psychotherapy
  • Cognitive behaviour therapy

  • Behaviour based interventions
Referrals for treatment/therapy are accepted from G.P.'s, solicitors, other health professions, care providers, and directly from individual clients.

Before proceeding with an intervention, all clients are seen for an initial assessment. For therapy with adults this usually consists of one session. However, for other types of intervention assessment may take longer and may also involve interviewing care providers, e.g., parents or support workers.

Therapy sessions typically last for 50 minutes. Clients receiving therapy are generally seen at our own premises in Colwyn Bay. For other types of intervention session length may vary and it may be necessary to see clients in their home or other care environments.
